HOF Game Invokes More Discussion Around NFL's Helmet Rule

The NFL's new helmet-lowering rule has been a hot topic of discussion since Thursday night's Bears-Ravens HOF Game in Canton, with NBC's Al Michaels noting it will be something top of mind "probably throughout most of the season" until the officials "figure out how to get this exactly right" ("Bears-Ravens," NBC, 8/2). ESPN's Steve Levy said it will "lead to a lot of discussion, and I'm not sure the officials themselves know" the exact rule ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 8/2).
