Univ. Of Arkansas' New Merchandise Retailer Ready For CWS Title

Arkansas’ new merchandise retailer, Dyehard Fan Supply, will be standing by tonight to sell College World Series championship hats, T-shirts and towels at Baum Stadium in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks play Oregon State in the deciding game 3 tonight. Baum, the Hogs’ home baseball stadium, will host a watch party for the game. Dyehard, which in the spring won the bid to be Arkansas’ gameday and online retailer, officially is scheduled to assume its rights this Sunday, July 1. But with the Razorbacks in the championship series of the CWS this week and previous retailer Fanatics winding down, Arkansas found itself in need of a retailer if there is a hot market from a CWS championship.

The Razorbacks’ online team shop will flip from Fanatics to Dyehard on Sunday. Dyehard won the Arkansas business with a five-year deal worth $700,000 a year, up from the $250,000 the school was getting annually from Fanatics.
