Colorado State Lands Canvas Credit Union For Naming Rights

The name of Colorado State's on-campus football venue "will be Canvas Stadium" after the "naming rights were sold" in a $37.7M deal to Public Service Credit Union in April. Despite the deal being signed, the "actual naming of the stadium was put on hold for weeks due to PSCU's pending rebranding effort." The credit union "announced its new name as Canvas Credit Union" today. The 15-year deal among Canvas, CSU and venue manager Learfield is "one of the most lucrative naming rights deals in college football" (COLORADOAN.com, 6/5).
