CompLexity's Jason Lake Talks About New Investors In Esports

CompLexity Gaming Founder & CEO Jason Lake talked about the "journey leading to" the recent investment in the esports organization by Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones and real estate investor John Goff. Lake: "I didn’t want to cut a deal too early for too little. I wanted to find exactly the right partners at exactly the right terms." He added, "I’m a big believer that traditional sports organizations can benefit from the new digital world of esports and vice versa. Esports bring a younger, tech savvy audience of educated, computer owning, tech savvy fans. This demographic is a goldmine to marketers." Lake also addressed CompLexity not being part of several upcoming franchised leagues in esports: "We’re playing a long game and aren’t worried that we don’t own any franchise spots today" (ESPORTSOBSERVER.com, 11/6).
