ESPN Adds Sunday Night Edition Of Van Pelt's "SportsCenter"

The midnight ET edition of ESPN's "SportsCenter" hosted by Scott Van Pelt will expand to six nights a week for football season, with a new Sunday night version debuting Sept. 10 for NFL Week 1. The new "SportsCenter" will begin at midnight or when the Sunday night NFL game ends. NFL analysts Ryan Clark and Louis Riddick will be regular contributors (ESPN).

Meanwhile, ESPN Radio's Ryen Russillo was arrested in Jackson, Wy., early this morning on a "criminal trespassing charge." Officers were called around 3:30am MT to a condo on reports of a "highly intoxicated male who was refusing to leave." Police said that Russillo "didn't know where he was and thought maybe he was staying in the condo" (JHNEWSANDGUIDE.com, 8/23).
