MLB All-Star FanFest Attendance In Miami Down 5% From '16 Event

The final attendance for this year’s MLB All-Star FanFest in Miami was 111,049, down 5% from last year in San Diego and the second straight decline for the event. The FanFest was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, which is still undergoing renovations and is located eight miles from Marlins Park. The three days of All-Star events at Marlins Park drew a combined 104,504, down sharply from the comparable 124,564 in San Diego last year. Petco Park has a larger capacity, but the three days of Miami events did not sell out in full.
