Excel Sports Management has signed T'Wolves G Ricky Rubio. Excel Founder & President Jeff Schwartz will represent Rubio. Rubio was formerly represented by NBA agent Dan Fegan, who is engaged in a legal battle with his former employer, Independent Sports & Entertainment (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

Peyton Manning will host the '17 ESPYs, broadcast July 12 at 8:00pm ET on ABC (ESPN).

The Pro Basketball Writers Association selected the Warriors as winners of the '16-17 Brian McIntyre Media Relations Award, given annually to an NBA team media relations staff that exhibits excellence. The Warriors have won the award four times, including last year (PBWA).

The NWSL Boston Breakers signed a multiyear deal with Dunkin' Donuts, making the chain the official coffee, bakery, donut, breakfast sandwich and frozen beverage of the team (Breakers).
