"MNF" To Include Segment On Randy Moss' Charlotte Bootcamp

ESPN as part of its “MNF” pregame coverage for Buccaneers-Panthers tonight will air a video highlighting analyst Randy Moss’ involvement in the Charlotte community. Moss is one of several hosts of “Bootcamp,” a CrossFit workout held in Charlotte on Monday and Wednesday nights. An ESPN camera crew last Wednesday shot video of Moss and the more than 100 people who took part. “When we go into a city, we try to show some of the sites and flavor of the city in our broadcasts,” ESPN Senior Coordinating Producer Seth Markman said.

Moss approached Markman with the idea, which will air as a lead-in to his recurring “MNF” segment, “You Got Moss’d!” Moss, who is in his first full year as an analyst on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” and “MNF” productions, will then talk live on set about Bootcamp and what it means to him. Markman did not go into specifics, but added iconic shots of Charlotte would be shown on the pregame show and throughout the game.
