NASCAR Drivers To Display Twitter Handles During Chase Races

NASCAR today announced that drivers competing in the '16 Chase for the Sprint Cup will display their personal Twitter handles on their car windshields during the first three Chase races. The activation is part of an aggressive push by NASCAR to use social media during the Chase. Beginning this weekend, NASCAR will curate Twitter Moments and share Vines and live video via Periscope. The first Chase race also will feature the Twitter bird logo, @NASCAR and #TheChase displayed as giant stencils in the Chicagoland Speedway infield.

NASCAR today is holding its annual Chase Media Day in Chicago. All 16 drivers are meeting with the media for extensive interviews and coverage, all live-streamed on NASCAR.com (THE DAILY).
