MLBAM To Stream Live Coverage Of Pairings At PGA Tour Events

The PGA Tour has struck a deal with MLBAM to stream live coverage of featured pairings in tournament play outside Golf Channel network broadcast windows, according to sources. Coverage would be streamed at PGATourLive.com, and would be limited to a few featured groups per during a limited number of events, beginning later this summer. PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem and MLB President of Business & Media Bob Bowman have scheduled a press conference for later this afternoon at TPC Harding Park in S.F., site of this weekend's WGC-Cadillac Match Play, to discuss the pact. The deal represents an expansion of the Tour's live distribution, particularly internationally, while also adding another top-tier digital streaming client for MLBAM.
