The Florida state House on Friday afternoon "after a debate" passed a bill that would give Daytona Int'l Speedway and other sports venues an "avenue for millions of dollars in state sales-tax incentives." The bill, which passed the state Senate Friday morning, now heads to Gov. Rick Scott's desk (NEWS-JOURNAL.com, 5/2).
