Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic Lines Up 30th Anniversary Show

Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Thursday with a one-hour show that recounts the RSN's history from its '84 launch as Home Team Sports. Longtime on-air talent Al Koken and Chick Hernandez host the show, "Comcast SportsNet Celebrates 30 Years, Presented by Geico," which also features interviews with the RSN's first GM, Bill Aber, and original production execs Jody Shapiro and Bill Brown. Former CNN talk show host Larry King also appears in the show; King was an original host for the network. Other interviews include Wizards analyst Phil Chenier and Mel Proctor, who worked play-by-play for the network.
