NBC Sports Group, Red Bull Extend Their Broadcast Agreement

NBC Sports Group and Red Bull Media House today formally announced an extension of their TV partnership for the Red Bull Signature Series. Red Bull will continue to run and produce the action sports competitions. NBC Sports "will show 20 hours of the events on NBC, and NBC’s action sports division, Alli Sports, will manage sponsorship sales and marketing of the events." NBC Sports will "air 15 fewer hours than it did under the initial deal" signed in '11. Red Bull last year signed a three-year deal with Fox to deliver 180 hours of coverage to FS1 and FS2 (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 3/24 issue).
