Pepsi To Break TV Spot Promoting Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show

PepsiCo during Saturday's NFL playoff telecasts on NBC to break an ad promoting the Bruno Mars-headlined Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show, which Pepsi is sponsoring. The spot is "part of a larger campaign by the beverage giant aimed at driving awareness for the show." In the ad, Pepsi "reimagines how halftime began with a scenario that shows a 1920s football game being broken up when a car full of women breaks down nearby." Other components of the campaign include a "ticket giveaway for the halftime show and subway wraps and digital billboards" in N.Y. (AP, 1/3).
