The Sacramento City Council is scheduled to receive an update on the design for a new arena from the NBA Kings' owners and hired professionals working on the project. The council set aside an hour on its agenda to respond with feedback on the design concepts being considered for the $448M city-owned arena.

Skier Ted Ligety and other '14 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls are visiting the NASDAQ MarketSite. Ligety and USOC CEO Scott Blackmun will ring the exchange's Closing Bell.

CAA Sports Senior Advisor Bob Kain at 7:00pm ET will deliver the Sports Innovators Keynote Address, entitled "The Global Growth of IMG & The Business Behind the First golden Age for Female Athletes," at the Univ. of Massachusetts. The address will be streamed on Livestream via SBEN.
