Doritos Taking "Crash The Super Bowl" Ad Contest Global This Year

Doritos is bringing back its "Crash the Super Bowl" user-generated ad contest for the '14 game and opening it up to "people in all 46 countries where the chips are sold." The contest in previous years "had only been open to U.S. consumers." The "core elements of the program remain similar to previous years." The PepsiCo brand will air two user-generated spots during Fox' Feb. 2 telecast, "one selected by fan votes and the other by the Doritos marketing team." Creators of the winning ads will get the chance to work on "Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron" (ADAGE.com, 9/12).
