DC United To Promote District's Health Insurance Exchange
The District of Columbia today said that it is partnering with MLS DC United to promote the District's health insurance exchange tied to ObamaCare. The DC Health Link exchange will open Oct. 1. City officials said that they reached out to the team "because its fan base largely falls within the 'young invincible' group that is vital to helping the Affordable Care Act succeed." The exchange will sponsor the Oct. 4 Fire-DC United match "with on-field messages, promote the exchange at tailgating parties throughout October and use United players in promotional materials" (WASHINGTONTIMES.com, 9/12).
