The USTA has put "enhanced security procedures" in place for Saturday's Arthur Ashe Kids' day at the U.S. Open due to First Lady Michelle Obama speaking at the event. The USTA also will open Arthur Ashe Stadium an hour earlier than usual (AP, 3/22).

Univ. of Utah sports tickets will now "serve as a free fare on game days for Utah Transit Authority buses and TRAX and FrontRunner trains." The school is paying UTA $300,000 for the service this year, and "it will be re-evaluated next year" (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, 8/23).

The Mid-American Conference Friday announced a regional TV agreement with Time Warner Cable Sports that makes TWC SportsChannel the exclusive home of MAC sports in Ohio and parts of New York (MAC).

Smartlink will serve as the official presenter of the '13 MLL Championship Weekend at PPL Park. Assets include commercial exposure during game broadcasts on CBS Sports Network and ESPN2 (MLL).

The CLC has renewed its exclusive trademark licensing agreements with partner institutions Arkansas, Arkansas State, Central Washington, Cincinnati, Middle Tennessee State, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Peperdine, Texas Tech and Washington State (CLC).
