CBSSports.com said it generated 1.3 million total unique viewers and 87 million minutes of consumed video for its live online coverage of The Masters, citing internal data from Omniture. The audience size and consumption are new records for the network's digital coverage of the event (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson via his Twitter feed today confirmed that the local bid group vying for the NBA Kings "has entered its counteroffer" (SEATTLEPI.com, 4/17). The amount of the bid "was not revealed" (SACBEE.com, 4/17).

Buffalo officials are "considering putting together a bid package" for First Niagara Center to host the NCAA Frozen Four. The NCAA is expected to release bid packages "in the next few months" for the '15, '16 and '17 men's hockey tournaments (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/17).

IMG College has reached a deal with Youngstown State Univ. on a multiyear athletics sponsorship consulting partnership (IMG College).

Liberty Tire Recycling will serve as the primary sponsor for Kyle Busch Motorsports' No. 54 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Toyota driven by Darrell Wallace Jr. in Saturday's SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway. This comes after LTR recently became the Official Tire Recycler of NASCAR Green (THE DAILY).
