America's Cup Taps Front Row Marketing To Help Drive Sales
Front Row Marketing Services today announced an agreement with the organizers of the '13 America's Cup to generate sponsorship sales and commercial rights for the sailing competition in S.F. The deal allows FRMS to market the upcoming broadcasts on NBC and NBC Sports Network (FRMS).
In this week's SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, Terry Lefton notes the America's Cup "is being sold more on the basis of top-flight demographics than ratings." However, it is "arguably the biggest international sports competition of 2013, and for those still seeking them, IP rights and hospitality are available at the higher price levels" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 4/8 issue).
