The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) has reached a three-year broadcast agreement with NBC Sports Network that will begin with the March 23 "WSOF 2" event at Revel Resorts & Casino in Atlantic City. The deal calls for a minimum of six live events annually and plans for NBCSports.com to live stream WSOF events (WSOF).

Private equity firm Apax Partners today announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Cole Haan from Nike (Apax Partners).

John Stephenson Jr. has been named President & CEO of Atlanta Hall Management, the non-profit group that is constructing and operating the College Football HOF. The decision to remove Stephenson's interim status "came in late January" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/4).

NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon today helped launch Random House's "Hats Off to Seuss!" campaign with an event at the N.Y. Public Library. Gordon read some of Dr. Seuss' work to 300 students, who were all wearing Seuss-inspired hats in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record (Random House).
