AFL Ousts Julee White As Owner Of Chicago Rush Franchise

Arena Football League Chicago Rush Owner Julee White is "out" less than three months after purchasing the franchise, with the league saying it has "terminated its relationship" with her. AFL Commissioner Jerry Kurz said that the Rush's '13 season "will be played, beginning with the team's home opener" March 23. A source said that among the "options on the table" are holding the majority of Rush games on the road or "having the Village of Rosemont, which owns Allstate Arena, take over the team for the year" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 1/31).
