Cincinnati Basketball Wearing Special Adidas "Black Out" Uniforms

The Univ. of Cincinnati men's basketball team will wear special-edition adidas "Black Out" uniforms during tonight's home game against Notre Dame at Fifth Third Arena. The uniforms, which are "similar in spirit to those worn by select NBA teams on Christmas Day," feature "solid color blocking of team logos, word marks and numbers with minimal accent color and shimmer finish" (CINCINNATI.com, 1/5).

Meanwhile, Cincinnati President Santa Ono at the game tonight "will keep his promise to shave his head." Ono "made a commitment that if the basketball team won 10 games in a row, he would shave his head to support the team along with the charitable organization, The Dragonfly Foundation." The team won its first 12 games of the season (CINCINNATI.com, 1/5).
