Showtime Announces Plans To Telecast "60 Minutes Of Sports"

Showtime today announced that "60 Minutes Of Sports" will debut in November on the premium cable outlet, marking the first time original "60 Minutes" segments will appear on a cable net. The monthly sports news magazine show will feature two original segments in each installment, as well as a studio-based interview and one updated "60 Minutes" classic sports story from the CBS show's archives. The exec producers will be Jeff Fager and Bill Owens, the Exec Editor of the CBS show (Showtime).
