Linsanity Yet To Erupt At Toyota Center In Wake Of Signing

It was "business as usual" at Toyota Center today despite the Rockets signing G Jeremy Lin. Rather than "a line around the block or Rockets fans hanging off the light poles, there was just a lone guy buying concert tickets." The woman working the box office window said that she "hadn't yet seen a single person asking about Rockets tickets, although single-game seats aren't yet on sale." There "had been no phone calls pleading for season tickets." Also, the team did not pre-order Lin jerseys. Rockets spokesperson Nelson Luis: "It will take a few days before we see a lot going on" (CHRON.com, 7/18).
