LPGA caddies will be sporting bibs with their player's "Twitter handles on their backs starting with the LPGA Championship at Locust Hill Country Club in June." LPGA Chief Communications Officer Kraig Kann said that "113 LPGA players have Twitter accounts" (AP, 5/14).

Premiere Global Sports (PGS) has acquired the North Carolina-based TMP Sports travel agency. The acquisition of TMP Sports expands PGS' travel management services offerings with special focus directed towards collegiate athletic teams, coaches and administrators (PGS).

ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will air from Brooklyn for its Oct. 29-Nov. 2 episodes, which is timed to coincide with the start of the Nets' first season in Brooklyn. Host Jimmy Kimmel was born in Brooklyn (Nets).
