Texas A&M To Unveil Upgraded Baseball Venue After $25M Renovation

Texas A&M will unveil a newly upgraded Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, which has undergone a $25M renovation overseen by HKS, for Friday's season opener against Illinois-Chicago. The upgrades were "keyed by a $7 million donation from the ice cream company." Changes include a "grand, red-brick facade with archways," as well as a "club lounge, a massive concessions area and a children's playground along the right-field wall." Earlier this week, "much of the upper deck's seating still needed installing" (SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, 2/16).
