Johnson, Davis Calling Pac-12, Big Ten Football Title Games

Fox announcers Gus Johnson and Charles Davis "are pulling college football championship double duty this weekend," calling both the Pac-12 title game Friday night and the Big Ten game Saturday night. When the UCLA-Oregon game in Eugene concludes, they will "take a private jet to Indianapolis" for Wisconsin-Michigan State. Johnson said that Fox Sports co-President Eric Shanks called News Corp. Chair Rupert Murdoch "and arranged for the broadcasters to use Murdoch's jet" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 12/2). Fox Sports VP/Communications Dan Bell said that "advertising for both games is expected to sell out" (L.A. TIMES, 12/2).

CBS has lined up plenty of shoulder programming of its coverage of Saturday's SEC Championship Game, with pregame, halftime and postgame studio shows airing live from the Georgia Dome. The network's coverage begins with "College Football Championship Saturday" hosted by Tim Brando at 3:00pm ET. CBS Sports Network will air an "SEC Championship Tailgate" special at 1:00pm ET. CBSSports.com will provide live streaming coverage of the game (CBS).
