NBA Finals Games In Dallas Result In Record Per Cap Sales
The NBA Finals produced record food and beverage sales for American Airlines Center in Dallas. Levy Restaurants, the facility’s concessionaire, reported per caps of $22.73 for Game Three, $23.76 for Game Four and $25.13 for Game Five. By multiplying per caps by official attendance figures, those three games combined generated more than $1.46M in gross revenue. Levy expanded points of sale throughout the arena and increased prices of some items in premium areas. The food vendor did not raise the price on hot dogs and beer for the Finals upon the request of Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban, said American Airlines Center President & CEO Brad Mayne.
