NHL Partnering With NBC Sports Group For Playoff Ad Campaign

The NHL will bring back its "History Will Be Made" campaign for the '11 Stanley Cup Playoffs, partnering this year with NBC Sports Group to distribute the national ad campaign through TV, online, radio, print, in-arena, in-store point-of-purchase, mobile and social media outlets across NHL, NBC Universal and Versus platforms.

The first two TV spots in the '11 effort – "Wish" and "Mess" – will debut March 13 during NBC's telecast of Blackhawks-Capitals, and more than 20 additional spots will launch by April 13, the first day of the playoffs. Starting April 14 through the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Final, a new spot will be produced each day highlighting a key moment from the previous night's games (NHL).
