Rugby Sevens Event Nets Sponsors Ahead Of NBC Telecast

USA Sevens today announced additional national broadcast sponsors for the USA Sevens Int'l Rugby Championship, which NBC will air live on Saturday and Sunday. Bridgestone, Subway and Toyota will receive on-air exposure as well as at-event activation at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Local sponsors include A-B, DHL, Pepsi, South African Airways and Canterbury New Zealand. Hotel sponsors are The Cosmopolitan, Hard Rock Hotel, Tropicana, Palms and Boyd Group (USA Sevens). 

NBC Sports and Versus President of Programming Jon Miller: "We really want to limit our sponsor messages to the edges of the game. But we also have the opportunity to offer greater exposure by way of on-field branding and enhancements within the broadcast" (ADWEEK.com, 2/8).
