Midwest Blizzard Could Cause Postponement Of Michigan State-Iowa

With blizzard conditions throughout much of the Midwest today, Univ. of Iowa officials said that the status of tonight's home game against Michigan State "hasn't yet been decided." The school said that a decision on whether to postpone the 7:00pm CT game "will be made later Wednesday" (CHICAGOBREAKINGSPORTS.com, 2/2).

Meanwhile, PNC Bank is offering free upper-level tickets to tonight's Bobcats-Pistons game at the Palace of Auburn Hills as part of a "Snow Day" promotion to "honor fans willing to battle the elements to get to the game" (MLIVE.com, 2/2). The Pistons also are holding a Social Media Night in conjunction with tonight's game. Fans who purchase tickets for the game at the Pistons' Facebook and Twitter pages "will have access to three exclusive ticket offers" (FREEP.com, 1/24).
