Orioles switch from Pepsi to Coke at Camden Yards

The Orioles are "switching allegiances" from Pepsi to Coke, as the team has signed a multiyear partnership with Coca-Cola Consolidated, the country’s largest Coca-Cola bottler, to bring Coke products to Camden Yards beginning this season. The Orioles previously had an exclusive partnership with PepsiCo, which came with signage on the outfield wall as well as naming rights to the Picnic Perch, an all-inclusive dining option on the ballpark’s club level. Pepsi also "previously sponsored a soccer jersey giveaway." A team spokesperson did not immediately answer whether Coca-Cola’s logo "will be featured anywhere at the ballpark." The Coca-Cola deal comes one year after the Orioles switched concessions operators, dropping longtime partner Delaware North for a new contract with Levy (BALTIMORE SUN, 3/21).
