Fresh off his win at UFC 299 on Saturday,  Bud Light says that it has signed lightweight fighter Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier to an endorsement deal, deepening its presence in the fight space further. The Anheuser-Busch brand declined to disclose further details, but Poirier is the first fighter to sign with Bud Light since it replaced Modelo as the official beer of UFC this year (Adam Stern, SBJ).

Rick Schnall sold his minority stake in the Hawks "to a group of investors including some existing Hawks owners" last summer "in order to buy a stake in the" Hornets alongside Gabe Plotkin, according to sources (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 3/11).
