Ally signs on as sponsor of Wrexham women's club

Ally Financial has signed on as a sponsor of Welsh soccer club Wrexham's women's team and will be "helping to bring the club to the U.S. on a tour this summer." The team’s U.S. trip will feature "competitive matches as well as collaborations with key figures in women’s sports." Dates are still being finalized (AD AGE, 3/11). Ally Chief Marketing & Public Relations Officer Andrea Brimmer said that the partnership has "been a year in the making, from initial meetings" in L.A. between Brimmer and Wrexham owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds. The club "reached out first having seen Ally’s work" with the NWSL (THE ATHLETIC, 3/11).
