Practice facility in works for Avs, Nuggets

Kroenke Sports President Josh Kroenke said that the company "is in the design stages" of a new practice facility for both the Avalanche and Nuggets. There is "no timeline for when a new shared practice facility might open." Kroenke said, “While I can’t provide any specifics on timeline, I have seen the designs, and they’re pretty incredible for what we’re trying to do here for downtown Denver." The most "plausible location for a new Avalanche/Nuggets facility is among 55 acres of Kroenke-owned land surrounding Ball Arena, mostly parking lots, that is planned for redevelopment" (DENVER GAZETTE, 3/8).
