Orreco upgraded its FitrWoman and FitrCoach apps in 2023 with an expansion of content, recommendations and customization while keeping most premium coaching features free to all users. FitrWoman, which counts the U.S. women’s national soccer team and USA Swimming as enterprise users, helps female athletes track their monthly cycles and symptoms with personalized resources for general health education and performance training suggestions.

Form Smart Swim Goggles

Form, which makes goggles with an augmented reality display, introduced HeadCoach in October, providing real-time feedback and instruction. With head position seen as the fulcrum of swimming technique, the goggles’ sensors enable measurements of efficiency and technical skills, all of which have corresponding gamified drills for swimmers to use during training.

IP: Intelligence Platform by Kitman Labs

Kitman Labs further enhanced its Intelligence Platform, a fully integrated dashboard for an athlete management system as well as electronic medical records, in 2023 with new solutions for coaching and development, league operations and medical workflows. It gained widespread adoption by many leagues including the NFL, NBA, NWSL, MLS Next and Premier League.

Springbok Analytics

Springbok Analytics evaluates the musculoskeletal system by harnessing artificial intelligence to generate 3D images, then compare data with muscle profiles of other athletes playing the same sport and position. Springbok participated in the 2023 NBA Launchpad program, continued its hamstring study for the NFL and had team partners across the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League and NCAA.

Uplift Labs

Uplift Labs, an NBA Launchpad alumnus that provides quality motion capture data with only two iOS cameras, began providing generalized movement assessments for athletes in all sports. And it did it while supporting 11 big-league clubs, screening prospects at the MLB Draft Combine, quintupling its reach in college and amateur baseball, and expanding to pro softball with Athletes Unlimited.
