In preparation for this year's NFL Draft in Detroit, Fairmont Sign Co. is creating five billboard style "Welcome to Detroit" signs, along with a "gateway" sign that spells out "DETROIT" with seven 10-foot tall individual letters. The signs will be "completed next month and installed in mid- to late March" before the city hosts the draft (DETROIT NEWS, 2/21).

Basketball HOFer Tracy McGrady has signed with WME for representation in all areas. He was with Wasserman previously and WME will rep him in all areas (WME). 

Major League Rugby club NOLA Gold has a new local sponsorship deal with LCMC Health, which includes its logo on the front of jerseys. The deal is worth about $500,000 and will "build on the relationship the Gold has had with Tulane University's sports medicine unit for the past five years" (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 2/21).
