Fox once again set a network record for women’s college hoops on Sunday afternoon, as Iowa-Nebraska drew 1.77 million viewers. That topped Fox’s record set just last week for another Caitlin Clark game (Iowa-Maryland with 1.59 million). On Thursday, Fox-owned Big Ten Network drew 657,000 viewers for Iowa-Penn State, marking the best women’s hoops game yet for the cable net -- and best figure for any women’s telecast, passing 613,000 viewers for Wisconsin-Nebraska volleyball on Oct. 21, 2023.

The WM Phoenix Open saw a 35% viewership drop on Sunday, as poor weather and a playoff forced a later finish (around 8pm ET) that collided with the first half of the Super Bowl. Nick Taylor's playoff win over Charley Hoffman drew 2.4 million viewers on NBC, down from 3.67 million viewers last year when Scottie Scheffler won the event on CBS with a finish time before the Super Bowl kicked off. Last year's event also carried more weight as a Signature event on the PGA Tour and had more top-ranked players, whereas this year's did not have Signature status.

The chart below lists viewership figures for select recent sports telecasts.
