Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte was arrested today in Baton Rouge and is accused of placing "thousands of illegal sports bets -- including some on the Tigers and himself -- using a fake account" while he was still a player at LSU. At least 17 of the bets "were on NCAA college football games, and at least six involved LSU football" (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 1/25).

RFK Racing has named Consumer Cellular its Official Communications Provider. The company will serve as a primary partner for Brad Keselowski and the No. 6 team in multiple races in 2024, debuting at the NASCAR Cup Series race in Phoenix in March (RFK Racing).

Major League Fishing has renewed its global sponsorship with Toyota Motor North America via a 5-year extension that sees the auto manufacturer continue to serve as the Exclusive Vehicle and Mobility Sponsor of MLF and remain the title sponsor of the MLF Toyota Series. Toyota originally signed a four-year agreement with MLF in 2020 (MLF).  

The Golden Knights have reached a partnership with Web3 video, AI and entertainment technology firm Theta Labs that officially recognizes Theta Labs as a Proud Partner of the team. The Golden Knights are set to launch a series of NFTs on ThetaDrop NFT marketplace, which will unlock access to tickets for Knights games, autographed memorabilia and more (Golden Knights).

The Blue Jackets have "entered into a corporate partnership" with accounting firm Schneider Downs & Co, the first time the company has signed on with an NHL team. The deal runs through 2026 (PITTSBURGH BUSINESS TIMES, 1/25).
