The Raiders hired Tom Telesco as the fifth GM in franchise history yesterday. He and now-full-time coach Antonio Pierce will be introduced at a news conference at 1pm PT today (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 1/23).
Adrián Beltré, Joe Mauer and Todd Helton have been selected for the Baseball HOF Class of 2024. The trio "will join Contemporary Baseball Era Committee electee Jim Leyland in an induction ceremony" to be held on July 21 at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, N.Y. (MLB.com, 1/23).
The Warriors will "wear a patch on their jerseys bearing the initials of Dejan Milojević surrounded by a heart" for the remainder of the season as a tribute to the late assistant coach. A "similar logo will be on the court apron at Chase Center" near the Warriors’ bench (NBC SPORTS BAY AREA, 1/23).
Personal tech company JLab has entered into multiyear endorsement deals with PGA Tour players Keegan Bradley and Sepp Straka. Bradley's golf bag will feature a JLab logo, while his caddie, Scott Vail, will also display JLab logos on his sleeve and yardage book. Straka will showcase the brand on his sleeve, as will his caddie Duane Bock (JLab).
