Organizers of Pickleball Slam 2 announce four presenting sponsors

Horizon Sports & Experiences and InsideOut Sports & Entertainment have announced four presenting sponsors for Pickleball Slam 2 on Feb. 4: Hard Rock, State Farm, Brighthouse Financial and Franklin Sports. Financial terms were not disclosed, but each of the sponsors will see exposure at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., which is staging Pickleball Slam 2 after hosting the debut event in April, and on ESPN’s broadcast, which will follow the NFL Pro Bowl. On-court placements include the baseline (Hard Rock), player benches (State Farm), and kitchen (Brighthouse), while Franklin will provide the official balls. Tennis legends John McEnroe and Andre Agassi return from the first Pickleball Slam, along with newcomers Steffi Graf and Maria Sharapova, to compete for a $1M purse. The event will be preceded by an amateur tournament in Miami Beach from Feb. 2-3, where players will compete for $25,000 in prize money and the opportunity to play in the main event.
