Cincinnati tennis venue getting major overhaul after keeping tournament

Each of the 12,000 seats in the Center Court area of Lindner Family Tennis Center will be replaced and upgraded prior to the 2024 Western & Southern Open, part of new owner Beemok Capital’s $260M investment in the Cincinnati facility and the joint ATP/WTA event. DreamSeat is providing the new seats, including some with climate control capabilities. All bleachers will be replaced with seats, with padded bottom seats installed in the entire lower bowl, while premium seating locations will feature oversized, padded seats. Beemok Capital and owner Ben Navarro announced in October that the tournament would be staying at the venue for the next 25 years after flirting with moving the event to Charlotte. Site improvements at Lindner Family Tennis Center in 2023 included a new Fan Zone, premium hospitality options like The Grandview Club and Sip & Serve Sun Deck, and the installation of 74 LED digital screens around the grounds. More than 194,000 people attended this year’s tournament, with 13 of 16 sessions selling out.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: Fifty new on-court seats will be added as part of the Center Court seating enhancements, providing the most up-close, intimate experience to fans. The on-court seats will be sold on a full series and single-session basis. The tournament also will introduce a new premium seating opportunity, the Baseline Premier Box Seats, which will feature oversized seats with climate control, cooling technology. Additionally, the boxes will include built-in mini fridges for water and cold towels and access to the 1899 Club, which offers all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages.
