Air Canada has “signed a multi-year agreement" with the Canadiens to “display the carrier’s logo on the Habs’ road jerseys.” Financial terms of the deal “weren’t disclosed.” The Air Canada patch will be "stitched onto the upper right chest area of the team’s white jerseys.” The change went into effect last Wednesday when the Canadiens played the Ducks at the Honda Center. The announcement comes “more than a year after” the Canadiens agreed to display the Royal Bank of Canada’s logo on their home jerseys (MONTREAL GAZETTE, 11/22).

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? In Toronto, Kevin McGran noted Maple Leafs RW William Nylander is now a spokesperson for Rogers Communications and appears in a 30-second ad released Friday that highlights the company now “providing long-awaited service to Toronto’s subway system.” The spot sees Nylander on the subway where he "talks to his mother and two sisters on the journey" and “has trouble finding his headphones.” Everyone “hears the conversation, and fellow riders aren’t happy about the noise” (TORONTO STAR, 11/24).
