Giddey's $40M Weet-Bix deal in jeopardy amid NBA investigation

Thunder G Josh Giddey’s A$40M deal with Australian breakfast cereal Weet-Bix is “at risk,” with the brand “already wiping” Giddey from their social media accounts and “monitoring the fallout to the NBA investigation into possible inappropriate behaviour with a female,” according to Matt Logue of THE AUSTRALIAN. Giddey has been “one of the faces of Weet-Bix for the past two years” and his face "adorns Weet-Bix boxes across Australia." He also has “appeared in television and social media posts for the company.” Despite appearing to “erase any trace of Giddey from their social channels,” Weet-Bix parent company Sanitarium said that it was “monitoring the fallout of the investigation” (THE AUSTRALIAN, 11/27).
