Ross in talks to sell minority stake in Dolphins

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is "in talks to sell a minority stake in the team, Hard Rock Stadium, and F1 Miami" to hedge-fund manager Ken Griffin, according to multiple sources. The NFL is also aware. Ross is said to be "considering the sale to bring in additional money" so he can "make more sports and real-estate investments," according to a source (X, 11/21). No deal has been finalized and "it’s possible Ross could sell the stakes to a buyer other than Griffin" (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 11/21). The minority stake available is "a significant, non voting stake," and other potential investors "are also kicking the tires," according to a source. One source "pegs the enterprise value of the assets for sale at north of" $7B (FORBES, 11/21).
