The Houston Astros promoted GAVIN DICKEY to assistant general manager, director of performance science; JACOB BUFFA to senior director of player development and performance science; WILL SHARP to special assistant to the general manager; J.J. RUBY to senior director of research and development; ANTHONY CACCHIONE to director of baseball operations; CAM PENDINO to director of player evaluation; AARON DELGIUDICE to assistant director of player personnel; and RAFAEL SOTO to manager of minor league operations.

The New York Mets named KEECHANT SEWELL senior vice president, security and guest experience. Sewell was formerly NYPD commissioner, the first woman in the role, and also served as the chief of detectives for the Nassau County Police Department.

COLLEGES

Butler University announced that Athletic Director BARRY COLLIER will retire, effective April 30, after 31 years at the school.

FACILITIES

Sodexo Live named MIKE MAJERCIK senior vice president of operations, Midwest.

HOCKEY

The Los Angeles Kings named DARREN ABBOTT chief revenue officer, promoted MASON DONLEY to senior vice president of ticket sales, service and operations, and adjusted the title of JENNIFER POPE to senior vice president of community and business development.

The USHL named LOGAN MURPHY digital media manager. Murphy was digital media manager for Atlantic Hockey and College Hockey America.

MARKETING

Navigate named ANNE RISTAU executive vice president of consulting. Ristau was head of global sponsorships for EMC and Dell Technologies.

WolfCycle hired RYAN MILLER as CEO. Miller was vice president of ticket sales and business development for the Los Angeles Kings.

MEDIA

NBCUniversal promoted JERRAMY HAINLINE to executive vice president, Fandango and NBC Sports Next.

Tennis Channel promoted NEIL ROBERTS to vice president of marketing and brand partnerships.

Yahoo Sports hired BLAKE REMER as vice president of revenue, operations and strategy. Remer was senior vice president of ad sales for CBS Sports and Paramount.

MOTORSPORTS

MoneyGram International hired ROB VOZENILEK as sponsorship promotions manager, overseeing consumer promotion activity tied to its Formula One partnership. Vozenilek was the marketing director at New York Road Runners.

SOCCER

The Chicago Fire hired JOEY COLBY-BEGOVICH as vice president, matchday operations and guest experience, effective in December. Colby-Begovich was vice president of guest experience for the Washington Commanders.

Minnesota United named KHALED EL-AHMAD sporting director and chief soccer officer. El-Ahmad was CEO and sporting director of the EFL League One’s Barnsley Football Club.

U.S. Soccer hired CHELLE ADAMS as chief financial officer; ABE GEIGER as chief product officer; and SHARI SUMMERS as chief soccer growth officer. Adams was chief transformation officer at SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment; Geiger was chief product officer at Stagwell; and Summers was executive vice president of operations at Wave Sports + Entertainment.

Minnesota Aurora FC of the USL W League named JILLIAN DAVIS vice president of brand marketing and communications.
