The Famous Group

The Famous Group’s mission is to create “wow” moments for fans using experiential technology. It has done so to industry-leading effect in recent years by producing virtual seating experiences for events like the WWE Thunderdome and NFL Draft; mixed-reality broadcast elements for leagues like the NFL, MLB, and NHL; and its Vixi Live jumbotron selfie platform. In 2023, the Vixi Suite expanded to use artificial intelligence to transform event attendees into custom portraits that teams can display on the big screen. Jon Slusser founded Hornet Inc., the first name of the company before branding its sports division The Famous Group, in 1997 after working in the Los Angeles Clippers’ communications department and finding inspiration in the rise of video boards in sports venues. CJ Davis leads all creative technology endeavors, and Matt Marcus oversees business development and operations for TFG’s propriety technology including the Vixi Suite. — R.S.
