Guy Fieri launches official Flavortown NFL T-shirt collection

Chef Guy Fieri has “created a new line of T-shirts that represent each of the 32 NFL teams by a local flavor,” according to Kendra Meinert of the GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE. His NFL x Flavortown T-shirt collection, “in conjunction with Homage apparel and licensed by the NFL,” launched yesterday. The collection includes deep dish pizza on the Bears T-shirt, buffalo wings for the Bills, Rocky Mountain oysters for the Broncos, Philly cheesesteak for the Eagles, a clam chowder bread bowl for the 49ers “and so on.” Just for fun, the Flavortown T-shirts “are divided into four divisions: Fresh Catch, Deep-Fried, Handhelds and Grill Master.” The Bengals and Lions are both representing by the “Coney dogs” (GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE, 9/13).

GET THEM WHILE THEY’RE HOT: MASHED's Ethan Miller wrote encompassing all of Fieri's “wonderful wackiness,” the designs feature “colorful graphics and fun phrases like 'Play Hard, Eat Nachos'” -- found on the Raiders' shirt. Meanwhile, the Saints' shirt features a cartoon crawfish in a pot with the slogan: "We're boiling hot!" The NFL x Flavortown collection shirts, “which cost about $38 a pop, are currently available for purchase at the Homage website” (MASHED, 9/13).
