McDonalds named former NBA EVP/Chief Security Officer JEROME PICKETT VP/Global Chief Security and Intelligence Officer. Pickett will join the QSR giant’s Global Impact Leadership Team and assume the helm of its Global Intelligence and Executive Protection Team. Pickett's work in the security world began with a 17-year career in the U.S. Secret Service, and he also spent over six years with the NBA, most recently as EVP/Chief Strategy Officer. Pickett will report to McDonald’s Global Chief Impact Officer JON BANNER (Bret McCormick, SBJ).

The Penguins named former Sharks GM DOUG WILSON Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations. Now "in improved health," Wilson “will provide counsel, opinions and expertise to hockey operations leadership on all matters including personnel decisions." He also will "join the team at various points during the season and offseason." Wilson stepped down as Sharks GM in April 2022 after 19 years to "focus on his recovery from an undisclosed health issue." His health "improved earlier this year," and "speculation began about a possible return to the NHL in some capacity" (San Jose MERCURY NEWS, 9/6).

Logitix named former TodayTix Group VP/Partnerships (North America) WENDI ROHAN LEBOW VP/Open Distribution. Lebow in the newly created position will oversee the company's proprietary technology, Open Distribution, which allows venues and live event companies to distribute, price and sell their primary ticket inventory across multiple integrated marketplaces. Prior to her time with TTG, Lebow spent over two years as Chief Venue Officer for Stellar and over 16 years in the same position for Goldstar Events, Inc. (Logitix).

Paid fantasy sports company Underdog Sports named Better Collective Advisor CAMERON MACMILLAN VP/VIP. He will oversee the "Top Dogs Program." MacMillan was co-founder and COO of RotoGrinders.com in 2009, a community and content provider for daily fantasy sports and now sports betting. RotoGrinders was acquired by Better Collective in 2021 (Underdog Sports).

Sports & Entertainment Travel promoted EVP KYLE MCDONALD to President. McDonald has been with SET for over nine years, previously serving as VP/Business Development and Dir of Business Development. He also has held the positions of Marketing Manager for the St. Louis Sports Commission and College Sales, Event Manager & Product Development Manager for Premiere Global Sports (Sports & Entertainment Travel).
